Description
This faithful replica is based on the Remington 1875 single action also known as the “Improved Army” or “Frontier Army” which was Remington’s first metallic cartridge revolver. You would be forgiven to think that they copied the famous Colt Peacemaker which was first produced two years before but in fact the 1875 is built on an improved frame of there earlier percussion revolvers first introduced 1858. Unfortunately it was introduced two years after the Colt meaning it lost out on military contracts and therefor never became as popular as the colt revolver.
This CO2 replica can fire either .177 pellets or BB’s as it is supplied with two sets of six brass cartridges, one set for pellets and the other for BBs. The full metal frame has a polished silver finish with a realistic balance and weight. The cylinder is also removable just like the original which can help if you need to clean it and then easily slots back into place.
